i just got a code i never had before. P0700 Transmission Control System (MIL Request). anybody know what this means? i cant get rid of it with my bddl. could my rad of caused this? thanks justin

 

I had gotten that code several months ago took it to the dealer $89.00 later it was gone .something to do with tranny electronics nothing to worry about .other people said it will go away .but I had it checked out, and they were right. dealer said it is nothing they cleared it test drove with scanner hooked up everthing ok

 

thats makes me feel a little better. just wierd ive had my dtt tranny done for 6 months now and never got it till last weekend at the race track.

 

I had the same p0700 and lost overdrive..there is a TSB on it. mine turned out to be loose connection at the crank sensor.
