Getting ready to roll 50,000!!

Hey guys should I follow the standard maintenance out of the manual or is there any other changes/mods I should tackle when my 04 3500 rolls 50,000 miles. Thanks

I drag this around on a weekly basis...

If your trouble free so far you should be fine. If you haven't already check and change the diff fluids, tranny fluid ect. Make sure to grease everything up under the truck. Mabe even do a balance and rotate if need be, add fuel and drive.

While that is good advice for the truck....... please be sure to remember you have to stop this thing somehow and your trucks brakes will have a workout doing it. Hopefully you have hydraulic disc brakes on the trailer, if you don't you'll wish you did with that weight. Electric brakes won't cut it with that weight. Some others may tell you otherwise but try to stop suddenly sometime and you'll learn quick. We all know our Dodge's have awesome pulling power but to stop a load like that will take some good trailer brakes. So keep that in mind so you don't end up IN my truck bed if I am in front of you!

No Additive in AAM axles in 3rd gens. Dana Axles needed it....AAM does not.

Make sure the gear oil is Synthetic GL-5 rated. If so, it should be fine.
