Is the fill plug the one beside the down pipe?

I am about to swap fluids, did anybody notice the shifts bein smoother after a fluid change?

Also I am noticeing a little oil on my transfer case towards the front of the truck, looks like it may be comin from the seal at the output shaft. Is this normal, should I be concerned?

I got another question in high performance section, Should I use royal purple synchromax or atf?

 

I'd use whatever the manual calls for. As for the fill plug, I dunno-I'd say whichever plug is highest.
