Truck runs fine but the lift pump on the back of the filter can be heard running all the time. Like a real fast ticking. I never noticed it before. I would only hear it at start up. About 50,000 miles on the 04.5. I carry a replacement pump in the truck and could change it now if this is a sign of the pump going out.

 

Mine seemed like it made more noise when the tank was low, like it was having to work harder or something. Truck is no longer under warranty so I bought a Raptor fp to put in it as a pre-emptive measure (haven’t installed it yet).
