fuel line size

Good day all,
Does anyone know the size of the steel supply lines(from OEM fuel filter to CP3)? I'm installing a Vulcan Diesel air horn mount fuel filter system. It came with 3/8" hose which looks too large(I.D.) for those steel supply lines. They look way too small(O.D.). Thanks.
Andy

Yes. I have a vaacum pump in my way so I can't use the fittings. I need to tie into the steel supply line.

Okay, thanks. If lines are too small, I may have to go with a smaller fuel hose and change the fittings on the filter head.

I've got some hose from GDP that I installed my MKII kit with (not big line). I'll double check the size for you as well.

The hose fits over the hard lines and secured with the spring clamp. I haven't had a problem there with leaks.

From what I recall, the supply line is 3/8 OD and the return line is 5/16 OD...I could be wrong on that, it could be the ID. I am certain the 3/8 hose you got for your kit will slip over the steel supply line and clamp on...I have done a few of those. Why do you think its different? Did you try putting the hose over the hard line?

Clear as mud hey?

Haven't tried to put it on yet. It just looked like the hose was too large (I.D.)
I don't have calipers to measure so I did measure them with a tape measure. It looked like the supply line was 5/16(O.D.) and the rubber hose (I.D.) was 3/8.

Shorts, thanks for your effort. The hose that came with mine is 3/8" I.D. It's okay, I've got it figured out.
