o.k. I crawled under truck to install a pusher pump, I was told the feed line is 3/8" and 3/8" rubber fuel line would work but the hard line sure looks like 3/8" OD or 5/8" so I would need 1/2" rubber line to slip over this, correct? The 3/8" rubber line inside diameter looks too small for the hard line.

 

You need 3/8" id (inside diameter) hose

Yeah 3/8 hose fits perfect on the hard line. I moved my pump to just ahead of the tank and I used 3/8 rubber hose to make the connection.
