Fuel going everywhere.

Sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow. 07 5.9l 210k 6spd.

Truck gave a shutter engine light came on then died.. Coasted to a safe place and diesel was pouring from under the truck. Turned the key off and popped the hood, and fuel was all over the back of the engine, & dripping everywhere.

Any common issues?

#4 and #6 injector feed lines are known to crack causing that issue...easy to replace and not very expensive.

Same thing happened to me. Thought it was the # 4 line, had a spare, changed it out, and after all the work (not that hard), found out it was a loose # 6 line. # 4 is easy to work on, # 6 is a little harder. Anyway, have a new # 6 line, and a new # 4 upgraded line in my oil burner.

You should buy a #4 line to keep in the truck just in case! A couple wrenches is all you need to change it out. I did my in a parking lot a few years ago. Took about 10 minutes tops.
