frustrated with truck need gun
cant get truck right and it is driving me nuts. Truck feels like it is starving for fuel real jerky. and also throws a p0148 everytime I drive it and clear it. fuel pressure doesnt go below 10 wot and idles around 18 cruise at 15. Cant tell on rail pressure as Di pricol told me to disconnect till they send new harness out as it cant monitor correctly as of now with dual cp3's as it cant process all the information. also when I come to a stop sometimes truck wont idle down and I have to throw into nuetral.

VZ, You are da man, Now I gotta go through and see what might have thrown my 0148......... I wish there was a page like this for every code, and these pages got linked into the wiki, then the world would be a lil easier ! any way you can make that ahppen, or any way we can help you make it happen ?
Oh....I've been there....! I'd be guessing, but it sounds like the dual CP3's are creating an excessive amount of volume that turns to pressure that the ecm is seeing. There needs to be a way to bypass the extra CP3 at low rpm's or low load's at least. Hmmmm....no one else running into this?
Trending Topics
I'm curious as to what the rail pressure is? Does the Dipricol guage hook to the rail pressure sensor? I wouldn't see why it would have any trouble reading it, since theoretically it should run the same pressures as before the dual CP3's. Maybe the blow off valve is leaking? The not idling down and such sure sounds like a sticking FCA though......several issues.....hmmm.....'bout gonna have to have a scanner ( CANBUS comaptible ) to read rail pressures, both desired and actual, and to read FCA. It is a duty type solenoid. IIRC, you should be able to feel it click with just the key on. It might be stuck!
the gauge reads off rail pressue sensor that is coming from dipricol they told me to get it off or mess up gauge. I when I put cp3"s on I drove 10 minutes and blew a hole out the side of the stock cp3 had to have replaced had to have injectors repaired lines cleaned etc also I have not turned on mp8 yet untill I can run gauge
