You guys are taking this thing out of context here and over simplifying the concept. You spend $40k+ on a truck have no money left over, shop exclusively at Wallyworld cause your cheap and you expect to be part of the million mile club along with the Dodge. Then when the stinkin thing fails its Dodges fault and every guy that told you how to care for your $40k+ disposable truck in a disposable society. Concept simplified 1 Fram filter = 1 Case beer- 1 protects $10000.00 engine = 1 makes you recycle modified H2O in less than 4 hours- one can plainly see the dollar value here. In the immortal words of James T Kirk- beam me up Scotty theres no intelligent life down here and pass me a cold beer. PK

Darn stinkin' "new math" :.....

All this oil filter advice sounds good, but I was thinking of going for the Amsoil bypass system. From what I am reading here maybe I should have second thoughts? Your sage advice is solicited.

I get my fleetguard filters at my local CaseIH tractor dealer for 5 bucks a piece. they are painted black but they do the same thing Mopar does.<br>DM01

I'll say this one more time for those who haven't caught on yet. Use what cummins says to use, or prepare to become your own warranty station. :'(
