Flashers flash and horn beeps when in cruise control.

And now today, cruising down the highway at 73 mph, the flashers flash on and the horn beeped. At the same time. Flash Beep. Flash Beep. Then good for a quarter mile then a couple more flash beeps.

It stops when I'm not in cruise.

After 20 miles it wouldn't do it again. Then it did it once an hour later.

Anybody have this happen to them?

.

Never happened to me but in 20 years of driving trucks and working on them, anytime anything electrical goes screwy, check and clean all the grounds. Batteries, motor to frame, chassis to frame, etc.

Maybe the recall on our 2006 multi function switch might have something to do with the malfunction. Check on this site for recalls on our 2006 Rams. Might be worth the search I believe there is a 10 year or 150,000 mile dead line is in effect which ever comes first.

I'm getting close to the miles but no problem yet probably start happening at 150,001. Hate to have them replace it {if it works don't mess with it} and then have the dealer really screw it up...
