Does anyone know how to make the fan come on? I want to make the fan come on when backing up in order to keep the transmission temps down.

It is all run through the computer. I would say a cheap electric fan would be the easiest and probably the cheapest way to do it. Otherwise you would have to find some way of tricking the computer to thinking the a/c is on or that engine temp is sufficient to require the fan. Could be done, but I like to keep it simple.

If it is controlled thru the computer and comes on when the AC is on, turn the AC on when you are backing up. Cannot get simpler then that!!!!!!!!!

I thought that is was controlled like the one on my Toyota, by a bi-metal spring not the computer.
