Engine Swap questions
i have an 03 with 87 thousand miles on the engine, i have the ability to swap my 5.9 diesel with another 5.9 that is from an 05 with 21 thousand miles on it. what is compatible? i know the 05 does not have a throttle cable, what sensors will work with my truck and what wont work?

I'll take a stab at this one.
The engine should work if it is swapped. However you would have to use your old ecm. Here is where it gets a little weird: The 03 engine will have less injection event cycles compared to the 05 engine....question is will it run ok or not? That answer I dont know.
