Engine cuts out on acceleration

Engine cuts out on acceleration
My 2006 Ram with the 5.9 likes to cut out during hard acceleration at about 2800rpm. It has the 6 speed manual and it happens more in third but has also done this in fourth. Any help would be appreciated.
