Been reading with you guys for while, you can't believe what a help this is for a new diesel owner. While installing my air bags I noticed a sensor? mounted on the top left front of the rear diff. Is this just a harness connection mounted there or if it is a sensor what's it do?

 

Wheel speed sensor. That's the sensor that picks up your speed for the speedometer/odometer.
