Delvac 1

My distributor says that delvac 1 is the same as mobile truck and suv oil, its ci-4 and ch-4, delvac 1 is $135 for 4 (1) gallon jugs, I am waiting to see how much the truck and suv is.

I wouldn't buy toothpaste from wal-mart or Flying J for that matter! Just plain don't like their business habits. I'll support the local guy whenever possible even if it cost a little more, say $20 every 12000 miles! Give it some thought-STY

If you are going to pay that much for oil then why don't you get the stuff and pay alittle less at GIJOES for AMSOIL

Well I checked at wal-mart, and they have the new mobile for $4.77/qt which is $19.08/gal, I agree that wally world has some bad business practices and they just happen to have their home office in my town, we wont do business with them because they hold out for payments for over 90 days in most cases, I just think its odd that mobile will repackage a product and sell it for almost half price. I use Amsoil now but have used delvac in the past and was just checking the price difference since the rumour started about the repackaging. guess I will get with geno's and get my filters on the way.

I'm with you Rednose! Heard about a small merchant [I think he was providing bundled firewood] ended up another WALL-MART casualty. WALLY contracted for a quantity of product with garanteed delivery date, then increased the order, insisting on same delivery terms, depleted the merchants inventory on hand, which eliminated his smaller bread and butter business[WALLY'S competetition] !

Then WALLY strung him out over 120 days for payment, tieing up his total cash flow, putting his couple employees out of work, himself out of business, and the competition out of product! THEN with creditors banging on the door, health ins. unpaid, his cash contribution to the local economy dried up, reputation shot and his Dodge CTD stakebody truck repossessed , which he traded in his only other truck for just so he could handle the anticipated increase in business with dependable, garanteed delivery.... beaten and broke, the merchant takes the 50 CENTS ON THE DOLLAR that WALLY offers to settle the account !!

Now the $3.79 bundle of wood is competetivly priced at $4.29 and rolled back to $3.99 and thats how they sell for less!

Spread the love every chance I get! STY

Sty, sorry to hear about your hardluck story. I have read about some of their issues too. If I was a business owner I'd be hesitant to sink my entire business into one retailer with a reputation like that. But I'll still buy my M1 at Wally World. I do buy my Amsoil direct.

Rangerst: Sorry to hear that story.I hate Wally and their business practices too.I can't keep my wife outta there though. It's none the less an interesting story, and one I hadn't heard before. I'll be sure to pass it on.

I heard mobiles pricing and packaging is aimed at the auto market rather than limited diesel usage and along with the SUV use and lower price will Big Mac their synthetic.

Hey 64, maybe your Mrs. will run into my mother in law over there! hope they don't get hurt! STY
