C44045, $1325.00 List= 2004 1/2 - 2007 DODGE Cummins 5.9L 24 Valve Engines 4" PRXB High Performance Exhaust Brake Kit (Air Actuated) DirectMount, Comes With Air Tank/Hose And Accessory Kit 2004 1/2 - 2005 Standard Transmission Only, 2006 - 2007 Standard And Automatic Transmissions

C44052, $1724.00 List = 2004 1/2 - 2007 DODGE Cummins 5.9L 24 Valve Engines 4" PRXB High Performance Exhaust Brake Kit (Air Actuated) DirectMount, Comes With Air Tank/Hose And Accessory Kit 2004 1/2 - 2005 48RE Automatic Transmission, Vehicles Built Between Jan 5, 2004 To June 27, 2005 (Comes With A Pacbrake Transmission Controller)

It looks like the only difference is that the C44052 is for 04.5-05 48RE autos only and includes the tranny controller with that kit part #.

Your 07 ECM already has exhaust brake control capabilities so you do not require the controller. You need the #C44045.

Does your set up have any specific features?
I have been pretty happy with the Jake on my 06. It operates nicely and makes a real nice pair with the 4.10 gear ratio. The thing that I liked about the Jake it was the matching hand for the glove so to speak and since I got it put on when I bought the truck, it's covered under my 6 year/60,000 mile warranty, (extra warranty, I know the standard is 3/36). This morning was the first time I drove my truck since Monday and it's been getting into the teens and twenties at night. The truck was plugged and cranked over a few times more then normal since it was colded but first right up. I let it idle with the brake on for 3 minutes and it acted the same as it was plugged in. I know you can probably do that with either the Jake or The Pacbrake but I'm just saying that as a bonus part of an exhaust brake. I think it all depends on personal preference and how much you want to spend. Good luck with what ever you decided.
