i get a code p0516 low voltage at battery temp. sencer , what the hell does that mean and how do i fix it , io think it causing my check gage light to come on and off when it does this my volt meter moves around like from 12 to 16 volts

I assume that your grid heater isn't cycling during this. that may or may not be why the volt meter is jumping around....I don't have anything else to comment except that the resistance in the sensor may be jumping around (garbage) and could need to be replaced.
