clutch pedal was hard to push in
this was the second time in 12K miles that i jumped into it and tryed to push the pedal in adn it was like, it was locked up. took a lot of effort to push it to the floor. then all the sudden it will POP! and be free. it feels like the clutch is jamed up or something. its only happened twice.

I just had my clutch system replaced. It was doing the opposite in that it would sink to the floor and then just work enough. Then right before it was replaced it got real hard to push in.
The ocurances were very sporatic. My truck has not done it since.

Are you doing burnouts or anything to heat that clutch disk up???
Some times when the clutch gets hot from slipping they tend to weld together
then act exactly as you described.. stock ones any way..

Timmer, I have heard of two other 05s that have that problem. We believe that it was the throw out bearing, but have recently thought about the clutch heating up and welding together after long periods of pullling heavy loads. Still undetermined. If either person pulls the trans out, we'll know soon.
