I really have to push the pedal to go!

Lately it seems I really have to push the pedal on my truck to get it moving and to maintain speed, what is up with this?

What year, how many miles, any codes? Have you checked your fuel filter? Air filter? seals and u joints? turbo gasket and boost tubes? Have you ever had the pedal go dead on you or momentarily lose signal? Could be an APPS problem, could be bad fuel, could be boost leaks, could all be in your head (lol), could be something else.

Sounds like the TPS to me. Throttle position sensor. You might have to disconnect battery cables and go through the process of recalibrating it. I am sure if you searched you would find the procedures on here.

Fill in a Sig with all your truck info, then you might get an answer...
