Clearance after lift
Clearance after lift
Not sure how close it was befor the lift but after 6 inch super lift kit right side stabilizer link almost hits spring. The left side has plenty of clearance I was hopeing they wound rotate the axel when they did the alighment but it still barely clears any sugestions.?? I have photo but can't figure out how to post it here.
stabilizer link? you mean sway bar link or shock damper? I am having a hard time figuring out what you mean. Also left and right is a little harder to understand compared to passenger side or drivers side. (assuming left hand drive) i can still take a stab at what your problem may be. Did the lift kit come with either an adjustable track bar or a track bar drop bracket? If not, that would explain why your axle would not be centered under the truck and offset to the drivers side. If that is your problem, go for the longer tack bar as that wont put more leverage on the upper mount and keeps the bar in parallel with the drag link. After rereading your question I also will ask did you get longer sway bar links or drop brackets? With out that, those links would push towards the coil.
Hmm. Did the kit come with longer control arms? do the springs get a bigger diameter in the middle? Try to give Superlift a call see if they have run into this.
You could buy poly swaybar mounts which are slotted, but thats only gonna give you 1/8-1/4" more room.
I will measure mine but i have changed to carli links and the new sway bar bushing. I can still measure to see how close my spring is to the end of the sway bar though.
