broken crank on 03

customer broke crank on there 03 claimed they was going 65 down the interstate when it happend it has a bullydog power pup in it

Does his truck have a manual transmission? If it does, want to bet that he has been regularly overspeeding the engine on downhills? (against compression) Many drivers of manual transmissions do not understand how easy it is to overspeed an engine when using the gears to slow down and also do not understand the mechanical dangers of this continuous overspeeding. The crank may not break at the moment of the overspeeding, but it can get fatigued and then break under normal driving conditions later.
