Breaking in a Clutch??

Hey fellas i just installed the SB FE in my G56 and was wondering how your supposed to break it in ive heard all sorts of different numbers as far as mileage also do you leave your chip/programer turned up or down?
as of now iv put 130 miles in town stop and go on it with my edge turned down to stock.

I see you haven't gotten any...

...answers, so I will tell you what I was told. In town stop and go is the best way. I have heard around 500 miles is best. Also I heard that toward the end of that break in a couple of slips of the clutch will help it bite and hold better. I have a DD so it was said that I didn't need a break in but I broke it in this way. 2500 miles later and she is working like a champ with smarty sw#9 with wild torque management.

Hope this helps.

I have always break clutches in the same way as I would a new engine, stop/go use for the first 250 miles - then a few heavy bed loads in stop and go to 500 miles, after that I just use the truck like I would all the time. It doesn't take long to add up the mileage breaking them in. I have seen clutches last me 80K. I am talking stock clutches, when I replace a stock clutch to something more heavy duty I do the same break in.
