No problems so far and, by my best guess, I am putting well over 800 to the rear wheels!

There is a guy on Dodgetruckworld that has an 06 magacab, 4x4. He has gone through 3 factory clutches. He has hit mid-13's. I believe he dumps it in first gear/4x4. He has no tranny issues. I personally can't see myslef dumping the clutch in 4x4 on the street. I don't want my truck to rattle. But that is a good testing of parts.

bigd6.6 has busted 2 I think, sled pulling.

If you abuse anything enough it will break but with the aluminum case of the G56 I dont think it can stand up to the torque of sled pullin or extreme drag racing.

I dont know if 500hp would break one but I supose anything is possible.

I think they could stand a lot of power on the street. Once competition is involved I dont know how much they can take.

35,000 miles roughly 25,000 of that with a South Bend dual disk. Mostly street driving but alot of towing (+/- 18,000 lbs) with added hp (triple dog/TST 50hp nozzles and S300 turbo) no problems so far other than U-Joints.

It would be nice to see a fully built one with billet gears and so forth. But my motto is "if I cant break it it dont need fixin'.....till I can afford to replace it"

If your just going to hot rod on the street you shouldnt have to worry too much about the G56.
If you ever want to start proving your truck in the dirt with weight behind it then save up for the NV5600 (there about $3500).

Why not go with an Eaton 18-speed!
