Clutch in, breaking-in is a boredom fight!
Clutch in, breaking-in is a boredom fight!
A friend installed my new clutch (charged me $300, I was not about to bench press that thing in my garage, it looks a tad heavier than a muncie out of a hot rod). It is the Valair ceramic (single). It is definetly stiffer, but I don't mind, that just means more holding power. I bought the truck as part transportation, and part entertainment source anyhow (there are worse vices in life-right?). I was told to break it in for 500 miles, dang, that is going to be hard as heck. The stocker that came out looked perfect, plate and clutch. But they just could not even hold it in 5th or 6th, sometimes 4th if I hammered it from like 1500RPM's. I will keep you all informed and give a good honest review.
Thanx.
