I have a 04 CTD and want to install my gauges. my question is where do connect the boost hose connector into the motor? My 02 CTD was easy just took the 3/4'' plug out and installed the new fitting. I do not see the same plugs on the intake with this one. Any ideas??

 

I used a "Tapped Intake Manifold Bolt" from Geno's Garage. It was with the gauge I got from them.

 

My X-Monitor came with a hollow manifold bolt. I took out the bolt closest to the front of the engine and put in the bolt they sent. The bolt has a device on the top that you just slide the tubing into and it is ready to go. It was much easier than my 01 was.

i took off my intake horn and drilled & tapped it. simple and free...

 

I did the same thing Nick did, drilled and tapped the intake horn. easy mod

 

Drilled and tapped the horn also, easy,easy,easy.

 

Thanks, I will try tapping the intake. I plan on doing it this weekend.
