Can I put a BHAF in my 05.It look;s like there is a mass air sensor or something in the air tube coming out of the air box.Also what is the deal with removeing the baffels it the new style air tube.Any part numbers for filters ,filter covers,or any other parts needed would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

 

it can be done... i have one on my 04 and the install should be nearly the same on your 05... it isn't a mass air sensor. dodge calls it a map sensor [] i call it an intake air temp sensor. it also has a baro sensor [that's why 4 wires] you can leave it plugged into the harness but not in the air stream and it will work fine... i had mine like that until i put it back in the air stream.. no difference in feel/performance with it being in/out of the air stream

 

I just happened to have a 5" chromed stack around the house that replaced my Air Torque Tube. (check pictures). It added more sound from the turbo but I don't think it added more HP, maybe it did but it would be very small. Mostly for soundness and it was free.
