Re:BHAF
the AF353K is 35.00 at the local Cummins dealer. They have them in stock. Since I am a card carrying member of the USMC, I can get it on base for 25.00 ;D
But the ID is a little larger at 4.858. I'll have to figure something out to fit. Any ideas MM?
(That plastic deal on the bottom does come off).

Re:BHAF
looking at the pic, there is no area sticking out to slip the turbo hose over.

the 19037 has the piece that is 4 1/2 od. a snug fit.

would they have a similar filter with an end like the 19037

I'll see if they have one with the flange to fit, but with mesh in and out.
Or think of some type of reducer to mate the hose and the filter.

Mike

I found the mount plans that I had for the BHAF. It is a heat shield.
I'm going to bring it to school and get the fab shop to make a couple for me.

Mike

Re:BHAF
I'm building my own intake. Although I have a 24 valve. A better flowing filter makes a world of difference in power. With a stock filter and the exhaust, my friends psd beat me. With the K&N and exhaust, I beat him. And his is a 2001. The filter and exhaust have got to add at least 25 horses. Seeing as how I beat him and we both weigh the same and I have larger tires with 3.54 and he has stock tires with 4.10. Who knows.
