I too have used Valvoline PB, Shell Rotella, and Mobil Delvac with zero issues and I'm closing in on 300k miles. However, as of lately, I've been running Caterpillar oil. It's rated for Cat, Mack, Cummins, and Volvo. Why you might ask am I using this stuff.....because I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and got 30 gallons of it for free .

Been through 2 oil changes with it so far and all is well. If it weren't for that stroke of luck I'd still definitely be using the 3 major brands I mentioned above.

Mobil had a deal that was 14 buck back when you bought a case of oil and the local oreily had buy 2 get 2 free, so a case cost 14 after rebates, I bought like 6 cases.
