I have seen a little less fuel pressure at start-up, know thats it's been getting cold. I ran that strainer all last winter with no problem. What would you recommend in it's place.
I also use the best additive all winter, haven't started yet, still using 1 qt. of 2 stroke each tank. Think I better change to my winter blend.

When I saw it just wanted to give you the heads up on where to look first.
I agree on the Howls fuel treatment, havent run a gallon of #1 diesel for years

I eliminate the filter all together. I Farm and everytime I get a new tractor the first cold snap I have had jelling problums with that strainer. Which usually gets fixed with a long nail and a hammer. This has happened to me on 4 different tractors everytime it was that filter.
