Need a aux lift pump

I was thinking of getting a BD but the carter lift pumps get a bad rap,I was thinking about holly blue,or the raptor,or glacier. What do you guys think.
Mods are Smarty,MBRP 4",afe stage 2,gauges. I don't want nothing like the air dog,I think I have no need for something like that, opinions? So many choices

With the raptor you just cut the steel fuel lines and just mount it in-between,no need to drop the tank?

I about to order a qzilla rail pressure gauge, that fancy geno garage fuel filter cap with pressure port going to work with it?

ok I will bite....
I say a Raptor or walbro
I am not a fan of Carter pumps at all....I say Raptor cause it was built to pump diesel and it has a SWEET built in pressure regulator. makes for a simple install.
seems like lots of guys have pretty good luck with the holleys..but you have to buy a regulator for them dont you??? if you do, does it make it close to the same price as a walbro or Raptor anyway??
I guess I say any brand but Carter.... I guess changing carter pumps on all our work cummins since 01 has made me bitter about them

not bad at all...all it takes is a suction line from the tank and the supply line from the Raptor to the stock filter housing..then from the filter to the CP3.
next you install the wiring harness witch is just a few connections
Battery+ Battery- and a trigger wire...you will have to drop your tank or lift the bed to bypass the intank pump on your 06 tho.

you could just install a drawstraw and swap some lines(ball valves maybe) and wiring (toggle in the truck??) to go back to stock..
but I dont think you can suck through the stock pump unless the pump is running and working...and if the stock pump failed you would be dead in the water.

I believe the in tank pumps can be "drawn past" , at least that's what I've read somewhere. One of the upsides of having an intank pump. The early models with the pump on the filter housing could not be drawn past. I'm a fan of the Walbro pump........don;t have any input on the others. Staying away from the BD pump is a good idea though! Don't ask me how I know!

I am thinking of an upgrade myself. Either the Airdog 100 or the walbro. I have the filter mounted pump so I think that the Airdog should be a pretty easy install. Am I correct? How easy is the walbro to install? Do I need to buy the filter kit seperate for the walbro?
I guess I am looking for the easiest and simplest of the two. Any advice?

Not sure how strong stock lift pump is on 3rd gen but i know you can pull through the in tank pump on 1st n 2nd gens. the stock LP can also push through 1st n 2nd gens... again not sure about 3rd gen...
