Well I use a Pro Comp (same as the Holley Blue) except the price for them are around $50 look on e-bay. Works great 28 psi idle and 24 psi WOT installed mine inline with the original lift pump and wired it so that LP provides fuel to start and after cranked the Pro Comp kicks in. Keeps it from having hard starts and hearing it run once the truck is running you can't tell it's there.

There pumps are internaly pressure regulated by a little spring they are set at the factory for 14 psi but if you strech the spring about 3/8" you get between 25 and 30 psi.

The problem with Holley Blue style pumps is that if you dead head them, they will not last. I used to use them on my Chevelle with a carbed big block. They never lasted long in that application. I wouldn't trust them on my truck. You are running them at max designed pressure when they're at 14psi and you're really pushing them past the limit.
A Walbro is a fuel cooled pump with 90psi capabilities. I run mine at 20psi. Less than 25% duty cycle. It should last, theoretically, forever.

I put a Walbro 392 on my truck this past summer. The kit comes with everything you need, and is easy to install. The installation instructions were real easy to follow and had some good pictures (which is hard to find for aftermarket parts). The most time consuming obviously is plumbing all the fuel lines. The electrical is a snap, and mine came with the plate to fit where my factory lift pump was on the back side of the fuel filter housing. All you have to remember is run your tank down low before doing and you will be good to go.

Another voter for the GDP 392...either way go to http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/ and select either the airdog or the GDP392. Most other systems are a waste of time.

With the GDP392 you can add the additional draw straw and leave your factory pump intact. If you ever have a failure of the Walbro you can either just swap over the pump wiring or have a switch rigged up inside to switch over pumps. You would also need a valving system of soem sort on the lines but that would be fairly easy to sort out as well and I'm sure if you searched on here others have already done it.
