1.Fuel filter:
/Fleetguard FS19856 7micron 14.25 Genos /FS19855 10micron-14.95

/Baldwin PF7977 13.36 Dougs

My records show these P/N's but I chose to stick with the Fleetguard FS19856 7micron

Baldwin P/N PF7977.
2 micron nominal/5 micron absolute @ 98.75% efficiency.

I bought mine from www.adiesel.com

Yeah, it cross referenced with the baldwin number I got from MikeyB here. It was from a local parts shop. Sorry though, I did not save the number since I ordered up some baldwins from adiesel.com. It was a wix so you can check out the site for it.

Be careful - just because it says 4 micron, it may not be any tighter than the 2 micron nominal.

Filters are rated as nominal (will stop 90% of particulate at the rated size) and absolute (will stop 99.99% of particulate at the rated size).

A 1 micron nominal is just about the same as a 5 micron absolute.

Read the details.
