Automatic high idle?
Automatic high idle?
Is the 1000-1100 rpms from the auto high idle feature enough to keep from cylinder wash from occurring? It will routinely come on when ever I leave the truck running (winter in MN), just wondering if this is enough if I let the truck idle for 5-10 min in the morning.
Also, will that help to increase engine temps at all after I first start the truck in the morning? I only have a 5 mile commute in the morning so I don't get much movement on the temp gauge.

You shouldn't have any issues after just 5-10 min of auto high idle. You may want to try the winter front also (Mopar #82208721). Helps it warm up faster and helps to keep your engine warm while driving in frigid temps. Something else to try is an exhaust brake for additional warm up while idling.
