Purchased new, 83K presently.

2 injectors at 42-45k, 500 miles apart. I think they replaced the wrong injector and that's why 500 miles later I had "another one" fail.

180,000

Original IP, all original injectors, replaced lift pump at 90,000. 180,000 miles mostly light towing. Have used B2-B5 fuel for 90% of fill ups and 5 micron Baldwin or Hastings fuel filter.

May as well of bought it new, only 10k mi on it when I purchased. 105k now.
Orig CP3 and injectors. WIX gold fuel filter with every oil change.
Have often thought about add'l filtration, maybe a aftermarket lift pump, but seems there's enough trucks like your with a crap load of miles on an orig fuel system to not warrant it for me.
Why do you say someone is trying to sell you new sticks or pump if the truck runs fine as is.

Happy with mine so far. Knock on wood, not many of the "common" problems....yet. Orig front end components, ujoints, 2 piece rear d shaft that is still fine. Only lost a #4 inj line, 1 steering box and it seems to like to eat power steering pumps (rebuilds) but I can't handle shelling out the $800 the dlr wants for the "new, better" PS pump setup.
Grit, I never said alot. I said "some" people. To answer your question, the people I have told my current mileage to who sell injectors etc. tell me it's time for some new ones. That's why!

Original pump and injectors. Lost the water pump at around 60K. Dealer replaced out of warranty at my cost. It was so close (just over 7 years), I appealed to Chrysler and they covered it.

2005 model year Bought new in August of 2005
98,000 miles
2mic filter since 30,000 miles
New CP3 at 60,000 because incompetent dealer was shotgunning parts at an injector problem
1 injector at 45,000 replaced with a reman under warranty
reman failed again at 60,000
lost another injector at 75,000 sent them all to F-1 for a rebuild.

Other than ball joints twice, two steering gears, a fan clutch, water pump, alternator, an AC that has never worked, and an exhaust that rusted out and fell off truck works ok sometimes

227K on truck in sig. One A/C compressor, two clutches. Latest is a dual-disc. Noisy, but it hooks up. It's a truck. Not a Lamborghini.
