Attn All 1 Owner Dodge Diesel Truck Owners

If you bought your diesel truck brand new, please share with us how many miles you got on your original injection pump and injectors or if still on same pump and injectors. Any generation year model can contribute. Please list out in your post the following:

Year?
Original injection pump or replaced?
Original injectors or replaced?
Miles on truck now?

If you replaced either the Inj. Pump or injectors, list the mileage at time of repair. Curious to know if anyone is still on their original factory pump and injectors and the miles on them.

I won't be of much help as my 04.5 that I bought new in Sept. 04 only has 45k miles on it!
But it still has original ip and injectors.

Bought the truck 10 years and 1 month ago. 123k miles and nothing on the motor has been replaced except the harmonic balancer. That was done to help silence the low speed gear growl in the transmission, which it did.

My 2005 with 125,000 miles is all original. about 50,000 miles are towing heavy. I should probably knock on wood before saying this, but i haven't had any issues in that area. Replaced all U-joints and ball-joints at least once though.

Love my truck..

2004.5.. Ordered/Built April 2004
Original injection pump
Original injectors
178k on truck..

Was a DD from 2004-2010 with a couple of light towing scheduled per year then I bought a TDI that is my daily driver..

FYI I added a GDP 2 micron very early on in its life in front of my CP3.. approx 5k on the odo when filter was added.. Have ran the CAT 0750 and when they are not available the 5mic FF5320

Truck now sees weekend driving and sometimes during the week if weather is bad I will take the truck.

I bought my truck (2004.5) at the end of August, 2004 and it is still all original, with 146,000 miles on it. It is my daily driver.

Year?
Original injection pump or replaced?
Original injectors or replaced?
Miles on truck now?

2004.5
Original
Replaced at 30xxx miles for upgrade, trouble free F1 by Don M
90xxx (can't remember, it's been 5 months since I drove it)

Filtration, positive pressure from the low pressure pump and good fuel will save all of the components listed.

I am glad you guys have gotten the miles you have contrary to what some of the folks trying to sell the expensive pumps and injectors have said. Congrats!

I will reveal my numbers now to give you guys even more hope out of these trucks. Before I do, my truck has been all over the United States pulling 53' gooseneck flatbeds. That's 45' deck space. I bought the truck brand new in 2005 and I am still on my original injection pump and injectors.

I have 326,676 miles. I just went outside and got the reading. I would post a pic of the odometer reading, but have no idea how. Anyway, this should give an idea to anyone wondering just how far these trucks will go and last. Last of all, an older gentlemen at Cummins who used to work for Bosch for over 30 years told me, if you drive these trucks conservatively and don't over fuel them with pressure boxes, the parts can last up to 500K miles. One last thing, I change my fuel filter out every 7500 miles when changing oil. This probably has contributed to the longevity. Alright, giving the stage back to you guys. Thanks for contributing!

A water pump already? Usually the water pump last quite awhile. What was the root cause?
