What kind of "gear" exactly are you referring to? To my knowledge the only differences between 3/4 and one ton trucks are rear overload springs, and possibly a smaller 10.5 AAM rear axle if its an '03 model...

Actually, I was looking for PICS of patterns that were run after a ring and pinion swap.
Apparently AAM uses a 2 cut gear and most of the aftermarket uses a 5 cut gear, but they both produce slightly different patterns. I just wanted to see if anyone had pictures.
