Could be that Wix oil filter.

 

I run WIX on my truck and have for the past 2 years without any problems. Knock on wood. With the way my luck has been lately, the next thing to go would be the engine.

 

Could the revving be due to faulty throttle position(accelerator position) sensor? I've seen other threads where guys have had their trucks lunge forward in drive-thrus, etc. Just an idea, not sure what your truck even has for sensor. Good luck.

 

my truck when she sits at a red likhg it like i got the pedal down while holding the brakes then when i let her go wow she jumps for a moment then shes fine this happens 85 % of the time.
