I need an air intake for my 2006 5.9. Which brand do i go with? I like the fact that the Icebox are steel versus the plastic AFE

Ice box is a nice unit, some fit and finish issues.

I still liked my AEM Workhorse HD Diesel intake.

Why do you prefer steel? JMO, but steel holds more heat than plastic...no matter what the intake, although I have heard everyone who has an Icebox likes it.
I'm happy with my AFE.

I'm happy with my AEM with the Dry Filter...

I think the steel tube makes the turbo whistle better than the plastic

stock box w/ aftermarket filter and 3' or 4" hole drilled in the bottom with small length of hose leading to and behind front bumper. also, a "cool" hose from the box to the turbo. my set up and it works well. but i'm not making 500+ HP
