Want to put a cold air intake system...which one?

2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. Have Juice w/ Att and monster exhaust. Currently have a K & N filter with factory box, been looking into cold air intake. With so many options out there, how do I pick? I have a lot of experience with K & N stuff, but wondering if I should try something new. Been looking at the Banks ram air intake, but see some mixed emotions on their stuff.

There are a lot of options. There is even on in here that you can build yourself. Do a search for BHAF (big honkin air filter). I went with AEM Brute Force. Kind of a balance between price, Washable filter and oil-less filter. I am very happy with mine, and if I had to do it all over again, I would probably buy it again. If I ever have to replace the filter element I would probably go with an Amsoil element. I do know that lots of of guys DO NOT like K&N and suggest to get rid of them asap.

Go to Vulcan Performance and look at the BHAF and the outerware for it. It is as simple as removing stock air box and use existing hose and clamp. You can also reuse your filter minder and the end of the BHAF.
