Anyone have comments on the AFE Pro-Guard 7 replacement filter that fits in the stock air box? I currently have an Edge EZ and I'm planning on doing a 4" exhaust. Any ideas on where to go for the best price?

I have one...didnt really notice any improvements
except for maybe 1 MPG better fuel economy.
The Turbo whine is a hair more pronouced too.
Should help slightly on EGT when we tow.

Have a look at the True Flow. I had a K&N on my last truck and it worked fine but I think oiled foam is better than oiled gauze. Just my opinion.

 

Got mine (old style, Pro Guard 7 didn't exist at the time) on eBay. About thirty five bucks as I remember.

 

You may want to look at eh AMSOIL brand of air filter also, because theirs is also foam and works great.
