I hate the "green" marketing movement. This vendor's attempt at capitalizing on it is even sadder than most:

With Green High Performance air intakes and filters, you not only squeeze out extra horsepower and torque, but you allow your vehicle to breathe cleaner air. Green Filters improve throttle response and air flow (better fuel efficiency!!). Give it a try, GO GREEN!

What a bunch of ****...

I've had an original Mopar in there first, then replaced that with the Fleetguard and it's time to change again.

What's the opinion on the Amsoil filter? Is it worth the money?

I tried the Amsoil and it didn't like getting wet like the paper filters. I don't like oiled filters but they don't collapse when they get wet or filled with snow. I run AFE PG 7. My filter minder doesn't get sucked down like the amsoil.

Got a new 53034249AA air filter to install in the factory air intake box tomorrow. The data printed on the outer pleat reads as follows:

DUST CAP 540 G @ 0.025 BAR
MADE IN USA
RISE: 99% EFF. MIN AT MAX
FLOW 19.12 M^3/MIN

So can anyone read my post above and help me with the truck not running right with the programmer?
NO WAY you should be running that on your Truck, smarty is the ONLY way to go on the 3rd gen trucks.

I would stick with the stock filter, and sell the tuner.
