I think I'm gonna wait for the 4" front spindle lift, I haul too much to mess with the backend, besides maybe flipping the brackets.

Well they just arrived, they measure 3" on center from hole to hole. The stockers measure 4.5, dont seem like a lot 1.5" at the shackle itself will hopfully lower it that 1.5". But i believe thiers some geometry there that says it wont move it that full amoount. Or is that with just trying to lift it? Well see i think im going to wait tell tommorrow to install them. They look ok to me and well built if they just dont cause any fit issues!!! Ill let you know and ill measure before and after also. Later

It makes perfect sense to me, it's the short ones like you said, my springs are under the shackle.

Ya looks good, i see no prob. with that. But ya mine is 100% oppisite of that mine are on the bottom, needing a shorter shackle, your set up needing a longer one to lower it. Thanks for the pictures! Pictures are worth a lot of words[and a lot of typing] ha ha for me Thanks Again. Now im really scarded i will run into the same issue as CLeger67!! I can feel it..................

Yes, mine were the short one's. Stock shackles were 4.5" ctoc, aim were 3" ctoc. Mine and yours would take the shorter style to lower, later models and or mega cabs take longer one to lower. Did not even try to return given the return policy and the fact they got dinged up a bit. Can't remember the part number. Good luck with yours. Also, aim said these were supposed to only lower our trucks 1".

So bad you called it quits, whats your next step with them or lowering the rear? Where were going today for christmas i believe we will give er a shot. As I recall I ordered them directly from aim. I had previously moved the spacer blocks from bottom to top of spring packlowering the rear about 1.25 inches. I'm thinking of living with that. Again, good luck and let us know how it goes.

Didnt get a chance to do it today, ive also fliped the 2 blocks from bottom to top, i gave around 1 1/8 drop on my truck, it better but want the other 2". Ill see what i gain from the shackles and prob. call it quits after that. Need to measure but im curious if i remove the heavy spring on the bottom if i can still reuse my factory u-bolts, this will yield another 3/4" also.
