Angry Id10ts even drive Dodges

I was heading down a 2-lane country highway this morning and the id10t in front of me was driving a dodge dually pulling a pipe trailer and he (presumed male) decides to pass the pickup in front of him while going up a short hill in a no-passing zone. He made it but what a stupid risk. A half mile later, I passed the same pickup in a passing zone.

Sorry. Had to vent.

There are idiots everywhere. Not sure if you have seen this yet, but Billy Lane, the owner of Choppers Inc. and who frequently is on the Discovery Channel, was driving his Dodge Ram truck and crossed the double yellow line to pass two other vehicles and hit a guy on a moped head on. Needless to say, the moped driver didn't survive. They haven't determined if alcohol was involved or not. He may be making license plates for bikes instead of bikes.

I always ask myself, is the risk of this pass worth my or my families life? It needs to be a straight, clear road with plenty of clearance before that answer is yes.

Agree 100%....It always comes down to...IS IT SAFE! Typically, people are trying to save 5-10 minutes, and wind up costing themselves, their families, or others!

Does that mean I slow poke down the road...no, that's just as dangerous!

I plan my driving; departure time, route, road conditions, etc; and drive with or near the flow of traffic!

How many times have you seen these people pass you and then 5 minutes later you pull up right behind them at the stop light? Basically all they did was put your life and theirs in danger to get to the same place and wait right along with you.

I could write a book about the stupid things people do everyday!

I love when you are on a 4 lane hwy with a median in the middle and the road bottlenecks to 2 lanes and people would rate run you off the road, cause a pile up just to get one car length ahead of you when there is miles of traffic in front of them.

the other good one is when somebody puts everyone at risk to pass one or two cars and traffic is stacked up in front them. what is the point? It amazing the risks people take to get there no faster than anyone else. just

At work they call it "down-sizing". You have to do more, better, quicker, with less!

Drivers take the same attitude on the road.

In drivers ed. young drivers are not taught about how to evaluate a "reasonable allowable margine for error". If they were taught such principles fewer drivers would take the foolish errors previously mentioned!!!!

How many times has someone passed you on a 4 lane interstate only to dart off immediately an the next exit? Or pulled out in front of you on a 2 lane road and poke along instead of waiting for a clear path before entering traffic? Where is their mind?!!

......"Where is their mind?" In their edit. I "dream" of having an RPG, or something similiar mounted to the front bumper, and when someone does that, light it off and get rid of the problem....

Anybody that pulls out to pass on the up side of a hill needs their head examined. That's one of the stupidist things a driver can do.

What is an Id10ts anyway?

I think he was afraid that there was an automatic censor in place for certain words. One of them being..... well, you know.

You guys are right on target. There are so many stupid drivers out there. There is no reason to endanger others on the road.

Imagine this, a rear bumper with a scrolling sign built into it, like the ones used for advertising. The wording can be added and modified with a voice activated mic. mounted in your visor.

When someone behind you does something you'd like to comment about just say it, and it appears on you rear bumper for them to read!!

Problem is, many would not be able to read it and some of those who do could not comprehend what it says.

If you did have something like that every dummy in town would then want to tailgate you to read your current thought, not pay attention to your brake lights and run into your truck....Officer: "why did you rearend Mr. Jones?", Dummy:" I was reading his bumper"

I see them pass trucks on the hill in front of my house and sit around waiting for the unfortunate one who passes and finds a empty log truck coming at them while they try to pass the loaded log truck I'll be there to tell the police exactly what they did.
