Who manufactures AC Delco oil filters? Are they still approved by Dodge to use on our trucks, specifically 2007?

i think the consensus here would be to stick to fleetguard (stratapore) oil filters. there is a short list of recommended oil filters for our trucks. i don;t know if ac delco is on that list.

Use AC Delco on GM products. On a Cummins use Fleetguard Stratapore or Mopar filters which are regular Fleetguard. Engines cost to much to be dinking around with cheap oil filters.

They were on the list when it came out and IIRC that list has not been updated since. My self I use the Fleetguard Stratapore as its a very good filter and I know Dodge can't say a word about me using it being its better then the Mopar paper media oil filter.

I see that Purolator made the list, anyone using those? They are easy to get at the local parts store for me. If they are good I might use them.

If you can stick with the Fleetguard Stratapore as its a much better filter. The Stratapore uses synthetic filtering media that traps dirt better and also smaller particles then standard paper filtering media can that most oil filters use.
