6 speed noise?

6 speed noise?

when im in 2nd or reverse i have a low pitch howel-grinding noise, only at low rps, once i speed up it goes away, is the piolt bearing going out?

No, the pilot bearing is not going out based on your description at this time.

IS that whe way the nv5600 is or is there something else wrong, bearing going out inside?

mine makes a noise at low rpm goes away at 1050 rpm, shifts good. I have had the pto covers off and it is clean inside. The noise does bother me though but still drivin it, it has done it for a long time.

It may be your clutch if it is old mine was doing that and one night got on the skinny pedal hard and she was gone.

Is it sort of a growing noise? The nv5600's do this at low rpms.just the nature of the beast. Mine has done it for 106,000 miles.Drive it and don't worry.

The noise bothers me but sounds like i shouldnt be woried about it, just keep my foot on the pedal......

mine does it too. it's the gears rattling a little from the low engine speed vibrations.
