I ended up actually cutting 7" off of the exhaust pipe.
With some spray lubricant, the tip slide right on. I used some LocTite on the clamp, but I will take it in tomorrow for 2-3 small tack welds.
It sounds and looks great!

The "kitty" is worth about 25 HP, 120 ft lbs of torque, 200+ degrees of EGT, a slower "spooling" turbo and about 50# of dead weight.
