Hi everyone! Im new to this site. Ive been looking for info on a RE47-48 swap. I have read several posts but i'm still not finding answers to my questions. So let me begin with what I have. I have an 04 and an 03. My 04 has some serious electrical issues, and im sending it down the road ASAP. That being said, my 04 has built 48 in it, but my 03 has ock 47. I plan on adding some goodies to the 5.9 and do not want tear it apart. I would like to transplant it if I can. I understand that the 03 uses a PCM to shift the 47 and the 04 uses the ECM. What my question is, is will the PCM from the 03 shift the 48 correctly? IF it wont, are there any options outside of tearing apart both tranny's to swap parts? I plan on adding a programer (smarty is what im lookin at) will that solve any issues? FYI, I've looked at the electical connections on both tranny's and they appear the same. Thanks for looking
