Do I have to drop the pan to fix this? or is it a sensor hanging off the side. Also how does it take to fix?

 

What truck is it on?

 

try removing /clean and reinstall connection on tranny. otherwise drop pan. check the wireing for chaffing/bare wires.

 

cost me 350. shifts great now like its a new tranny.

200 at dealer for parts
60 at autozone for 6 quarts tranny and a filter kit
85 for labor but they also put in a back up light that was out.
Didnt ask, But they did it as part of the one hour labor

 

This just came up today and P0713 and P1762 - Just like the song "together again"

 

What was the solution??
