i just had #4 high pressure injector line blow off on me tonight. just wonder if anyone knows the part number for this from dodge or cummins?

 

ANYone ahve a part number?

 

Need a serial # to look in the Cummins side.

 

For my 03 the part # is 3957094 from cummins.

 

If you have a cummins dealer close by, go there with your engine serial number ready. My cummins dealer had the part on the shelf. BTW, welcome to the club.

 

I just replaced the same line on mine a week ago. When i called my buddy at dodge he said they sell the #4 line more then anyother. Sounds like to me they have a manufacturing problem. My wife was driving by herself and it shot fuel out until it had spread fuel all the way back to the rear bumper. Then it broke bad enough that it drained the rail pressure. When it finally broke it shot fuel all over the engine compartment including the hot turbo she said it was smoking pretty good. Id say we were just a little air from having the thing burn to the ground. Would give you the part # but i threw the box away.

 

no problem guys they had er on the shelf at cummins.only 37$ can. comes with a new bracket too.

 

Make sure you check ALL the vibration isolation clamps. They loosen up from the pulsating causing the lines to vibrate and fracture.
