I thought I would add the details of the 1st major repair expense with my 2005 2500.
For the past year the truck was idling rougher than normal but not enough to be a problem. recently the check engine light would occasionally go on and go off after a drive. Idle upon starting got rough and some smoking u ntil warmed up. Took to dealer for repair and code showed #3 injector not delivering normal fuel flow. allowed Fuel injector flush service to be performed, and overall performance improved but rough idle still there. Brough back for fuel injector # 3 replacement and the truck has never run better. I actually can't believe how well it is running. The dealer also flashed the controller under a tsb.
